Sustainability
We rarely pause to marvel at the materials that surround us. We are never without them, as they are the foundations on which our whole society is constructed. Often, we ascribe certain roles or associations to a material, but we must keep in mind that these are not inherent, immutable properties of it, but rather depend on the conditions it was sourced and our own subjective perception. How can we use materials to design a better today and tomorrow?
